Refugee Voices Researcher

“I have always had a keen interest in social relationships and the dynamics between different groups, which led me to studying for my undergraduate degree in Psychology. However, it is through my masters degree in Conflict, Security and Development that I have been able to apply this interest and focus more closely on the causes that I care about.

In particular, I have closely followed the refugee crisis and subsequent policy decisions in Europe. Whilst I feel it is important to draw attention to the injustices asylum seekers and refugees are facing, I am also passionate about creating positive narratives around this issue and amplifying the voices of refugees themselves.”
